www.gaiafirst.org The video will explain how GAIA FIRST, a non-profit NGO based in France, will tackle the great plastic pollution problem in our oceans. The project will focus on the Great Pacific Garbage Patch and how, with the help of advanced military-grade technology we will be capable of eliminating 50% of this patch in 5 years time. This confirmed technology will reduce the plastic compounds to their basic elements, such as Hydrogen and Oxygen, that will in turn be combined again to produce green non-polluting energy. This energy will be used to aliment the system itself, thus making a circular flow of energy and allowing the system to run continuously. This system will be then used for all other patches and other environmental crises like oil spills and toxic or invasive ocean pollution. The force of GAIA FIRST is the social movement that it will create, so all results depend on you, to follow, donate and share as much as possible. Gianni’s idea is that if we take plastic waste back to its raw elements, we can generate hydrogen energy, a cleaner energy more powerful than diesel. With 10 kg of plastic, a hydrogen car can travel 350 km. In his TEDxMünster talk, Gianni tells us about his plan to install floating power plants on ships, feed them with plastic waste and clean up the great garbage patch in the Pacific Ocean. Gianni Valenti is the president and founder of the environmental NGO Gaia First. With years of experience in creating, structuring and guiding businesses he also has a deep passion for scientific innovation, that has led to his contribution to several products on the market today, international patents and award winning solutions. With a strong love for the environment, his life goal is to change the way we relate to nature.
